Gauteng Removals offer two levels of liability protection: Goods in Transit: Insurance against Fire, Overturning, Collusion and Hi-Jacking of Truck. All Risk Insurance: Optimal Insurance for Furniture and Items against damages whilst being moved, must be quoted separately. Clients must provide us with a detailed list of furniture stating the value of each item. Owner packed goods or unpacked, unprotected interests will not be covered by the insurance policy. If you decide to do your own packing, remember that Gauteng Removal is not liable for damage to boxes packed by the customer. Cash, Bank Notes, Stamps, Securities of any Kind, Gold, Silver, Platinum articles, Jewellery, Precious Stones, Medals and Documents are excluded from Insurance. Obtain a written appraisal of antiques to verify their value.
